Robert Pattinson's popularity is still unstoppable, so it's not a surprise to see his on-screen dad showing-off some lurve.
Peter Facinelli, 36, told the American edition of OK Magazine that he "wants" Robert Pattinson's Twilight role.
"If I was maybe 10, 11 years younger – what is Rob like 24? – I'd like to play Edward, But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree so it's pretty cool playing Carlisle."
Facinelli, who plays the role of Carlisle Cullen -- Edward's adoptive father, is undoubtedly close to the 24 year-old British actor. Imagine, he's so brave to say that he's 'Team Edward' (obviously, coz he plays a vampire role too).
He tells OK, "If I had no association with the films, I'd still be Team Edward, there's something interesting about living forever, having that eternity." Bias, bias! Haha, just kidding!
Robert Pattinson's first Twitter post was made on Peter Facinelli's account. So, I think they're really close.
